LIVE STREAMING EXCLUSIVE CLASS WITH ELLE THRASY Elle Thrasy 10 Febbraio ore 17.00 Contemporary Dance – Contact Improvisation – Guided Improvisation – Choreography Lab All dancers over than 12 years old are welcome to join my classes and explore the world of contemporary dance. Through these series of classes we will be exploring the abilities of the body, being physical, playing with dynamics and searching for different qualities in our movement. How we can move through the space, shift our weight, use the floor, and treat other dancers. Dancers will explore and eventually find their own and personal way of moving based on specific tasks, as a guided improvisation. Moving along with the classes, we will explore the world of Contact Improvisation, a partner dance form based on the physical principles of touch, momentum, shared weight, and most quintessentially – following a shared point of contact. More than that we will be learning some set material based on a specific choreographic work of mine, which dancers will be performing it by the end of each class, and they will be receiving feedback. This which will give us the opportunity to challenge ourselves, escape the comfort zone and mostly have fun moving and sharing our love for dance!
